The Hong Kong Festival Celebration Committee invites residents and visitors of Hawaii to join a month-long celebration of Hong Kong's vibrant culture and heritage. This event marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Business Association of Hawaii in 2026, promising to be one of the most outstanding community events in the area.
Overview
Sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in San Francisco and organized by the Hong Kong Business Association of Hawaii, the inaugural Honolulu-Hong Kong Festival is supported by the Mayor’s Office of the City and County of Honolulu and co-partnered with several organizations and is designed to inspire and uplift. Together, we aim to present one of the most exciting community events Honolulu has ever seen.
The Hong Kong Festival serves as a bridge for cultural and business exchange, and economic stimulus for Hawaii, fostering harmony within the community by celebrating cultural diversity. The Hong Kong Festival will run from January 31 to March 1, 2026, coinciding with the celebrations of the Chinese New Year. It highlights Hong Kong's rich traditional culture and intangible cultural heritage, pop culture and lifestyle, business environments and culinary excellence.
